Privacy policy

FetchSky Technologies ("FetchSky", "we", "us") designs, builds and runs software for businesses. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Our head office is Office #20, NASTP 2 Silicon Valley, Karachi 75240, Pakistan, and we also have offices in Lahore, Pakistan and Santa Ana, United States.

We collect personal information only when you give it to us, and the technical data needed to deliver the site:

• When you contact us through a form on this site: your name, work email, company, role, timeline and the message you write, together with the page you sent it from.
• When you email us, or apply for a role at careers@fetchsky.com: the contents of your email and anything you attach, such as a CV.
• When you visit the site: our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Please do not send us sensitive information (for example health or financial details) through the contact form.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry and follow up on it;
• discuss, prepare and deliver work you ask us for;
• assess your application if you apply for a role;
• keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems;
• meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent, when you choose to contact us; steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and performing that contract; our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to business enquiries; and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

This site stores two settings in your browser that it needs to work: whether you chose the light or dark theme, and the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again.

With your consent, it also uses:

• Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which show us how the site is used (pages visited, time on page, how people move through a page) so we can improve it;
• Marketing: the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel, which measure how our advertising on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram performs.

None of these run until you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page. Each provider handles the data under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:

• service providers who host the site, store data and handle email for us, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions;
• analytics and advertising providers (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Meta), only for visitors who allow those cookies;
• professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed;
• authorities, where the law requires it.

We work from Pakistan and the United States, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where your information is transferred outside the country you live in, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to the standard this policy describes.

We keep enquiries and the correspondence that follows for as long as we need them to respond, to manage any work that results, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Applications are kept for as long as the hiring process needs them. Hosting request logs are kept for a short period for security. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it, or to delete it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• withdraw consent you have given;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email hello@fetchsky.com. We will respond within the time the law requires and may need to confirm your identity first.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the systems that store it, and providers that maintain their own security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
